Introducing Wishbone Flax Flower!

I’ve been wanting this yarn base for more than a year. My shipment arrived a few weeks ago and I am so excited! I want to re-knit everything that I’ve ever knitted ….

This is a colour way that will be available after Christmas, once the sale is over. It’s an old favourite of mine called “Mudlark”, with a little tweak here and there.

This yarn becomes softer and softer as you knit with it. The composition is 90% Merino and 10% Linen. You can actually see the flax fibres in the yarn – they give dark colours a heathered appearance, as the acid dyes I use don’t colour plant fibres at all – only animal fibres such as wool, mohair and yak.

Happy holiday knitting ahead!
